Actuary Course

Department of Earth Information Mathematical Sciences offers a 2-year course for students who aim to be an actuary. In order to be an actuary in Japan, one must be accepted as an official member of The Institute of Actuaries in Japan by passing a series of examinations.

Our 2-year course helps students prepare for these examinations. Since the curriculum corresponds closely with the examination subjects, students will find this course as an ideal environment for the preparation.

Almost all the lectures in The Actuary Course are given at night so that those who work during the day can attend the class.
